Wound Cartridge: Wound Industrial Filter Cartridges are designed to meet the most demanding filtration duties. They offer economic, compact, easily installed and maintained filtration system for the removal of particulate from liquid. Wound filter cartridges are manufactured from a variety of carefully selected raw materials. These are processed in the factory in to fibres of specific grades using the latest technology. After carding and spinning in to roving they are wound in to cartridges with carefully controlled micron ratings. The filter media is wound on to a central support core to form precise and accurate tapered, spiral passage ways to form the 'depth' filter matrix. The tapering of these passageways ensures that filtration of particles progressively becomes finer towards the centre of the cartridges providing efficient filtration, maximum dirt holding capacity and long life. The wound construction provides a strong structure that can withstand severe operating conditions. Fluid flow is from outside to inside through the filter media. Dirt particles are held securely in the filter matrix and the clean fluid flows to the downstream side of the cartridge. Applications

- Electronics: Membrane prefiltrations, solvents, acids, plating solutions, reverse osmosis prefiltration, DI Water, photoresists.
- Food and Beverage: Soft drink make-up and process water, edible oil polishing, water clarification of still and sparkling water, corn syrup and fructose syrup polishing, yeast removal and polishing of beer, wine clarifying, spice oils, natural and synthetic flavours
- Pharmaceuticals: Chemical intermediates and solvents, parenteral solution prefilteration, membrane prefiltration, process, washing and cooling water
